PCTPA has created an interactive dashboard that can be used to identify and analyze metrics related to equity that are unique to Placer County.  The dashboard lets users choose from a variety of reports about transportation, safety, and accessibility which help identify underserved populations and those that lack access to transportation options. The purpose of this is to help us develop a framework for equity policies that may be incorporated into the 2050 Regional Transportation Plan Update and other programs managed by PCTPA. This accessible and mobile-friendly dashboard is powered by MySidewalk and presents comprehensive data in engaging visualizations, such as graphs, charts, and maps, so that they can be easily viewed and understood.

We encourage the public as well as our member agencies to use this tool to learn more about challenges experienced by residents in our region related to transportation and accessibility. Each section explores a different set of data specific to Placer County illustrating equity, safety, mobility and community character. This information is intended to augment work currently underway by the Sacramento Area Council of of Governments as part of its Race, Equity & Inclusion Initiative by providing a more granular look at data that reflects our urban-rural make up.
